Stay True to your Brand

Illustration has always provided a thoughtful alternative to fleeting trends and disposable designs, approaches that can dilute what makes your brand truly special.

My Vintage-Inspired Approach

Grounded in meticulous research and a love for the vintage aesthetic, my hand-crafted designs evoke a sense of timelessness and quality; resulting in products that resonate with your customers while staying true to your unique story.

Project Spotlight

Anna Simmons x Royal Museums Greenwich

This project; a successful souvenir range for a leading group of national museums, demonstrates how my illustrations can tell richer stories, broaden appeal, and add layers of meaning - while still hitting commercial targets.

The brief was to create a map-based range that subtly referenced London landmarks, appealing to diverse visitors while respecting Greenwich’s unique cultural significance… while the challenge was to stand out in a crowded market- without feeling gimmicky or off-the-peg. Using a vintage-inspired, hand-drawn style rooted in research and storytelling, I created cohesive, characterful imagery that worked across the whole range- and felt like it belonged there.

I delivered bold, scalable, graphics - adaptable across merchandise - from full maps on tea towels and tote bags to individual motifs on badges and mugs; providing the design team with hassle-free, high-quality assets that kept a human touch and set the products apart from typical souvenirs.

A research-led souvenir range with a sense of place and plenty of character. See the full project here

Anna Simmons x Maison Marcy

In the next project, luxury sleepwear brand Maison Marcy licensed two of my illustrated city scenes - one of Rome, the other a vintage-style guide to Paris - for limited-edition pyjamas and accessories. With their nostalgic, scarf-like aesthetic, the illustrations were a natural match for the brand’s playful-chic identity.

The Paris design brought vintage charm (with a knowing wink!) to the pyjamas, while the Rome illustration gave their fashion-forward scarves - both a bold chiffon square and a smaller neckerchief - a Roman Holiday elegance.

By repurposing illustrations rich with cultural texture and narrative curiosity, Maison Marcy created a product line with built-in storytelling that added depth and meaning.

The vintage aesthetic brought a sense of nostalgic elegance that resonated emotionally, while the illustrations’ distinctive visual style gave the range a creative edge- perfectly pitched for the luxury market.
