Work With Me
Illustrated map of Turin by Anna Simmons in apricot, tans and grey-blues showing historic landmarks, including Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the Basilica of Superga, and Palazzo Madama, and newer neighbourhoods like Vanchiglia, and local food and drink.

I created this illustrated map of Turin for National Geographic Traveller UK. The map highlights the city’s landmarks, neighbourhoods, and food culture, including Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the Basilica of Superga, Venaria Reale, Palazzo Madama, and Vanchiglia. I used a soft, muted palette of apricots, yellows, and pale blues, with deco-inspired and historical lettering to reflect the city’s layered character. The River Po winds through the composition, with small details celebrating Turin’s famous chocolates and coffee culture.
